About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our Community Care Psychology department, you will play a vital role in providing neuropsychological assessments and interventions for individuals with acquired and neurodegenerative brain injury.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and develop evidence-based interventions to support individuals and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide case discussion and care planning, emphasizing biopsychosocial formulations and evidence-based interventions.
- Contribute to audit, research, and service development initiatives to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Provide formal and ad-hoc supervision to other staff, including trainees, and offer teaching and learning opportunities.
- Lead clinical expertise and leadership in the psychological and cognitive needs of individuals following a stroke and ABI, and their families.
