The Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Assistant to join our team in central Southampton. As a Business Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our office, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage incoming and outgoing mail, documents, and packages
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
- Assist with document production, binding, laminating, and paginating
- Manage stock levels and process orders for stationery and IT consumables
- Maintain the office appearance and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Liaise with contractors and engineers to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
- Arrange conference facilities and audio-visual equipment
- Provide reception and events cover, including serving refreshments and food
Requirements:
- Professional approach and excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and ability to learn new software
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Benefits:
