Garment Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Garment Technologist to join our Technology team at Alex James Digital. As a key member of our Ladieswear department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our company's specifications in terms of sizing and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate size specifications and product sketches
• Manage the intake and preparation of samples for fit meetings
• Collaborate with technologists and buyers to provide concise feedback to suppliers
• Oversee the sealing process from initial fit to production and post-production
• Specify care label information and packaging details
• Analyze test reports and provide recommendations
• Liaise with the warehouse Q/C team
• Analyze returns information and provide insights
• Provide technical support to customer services and retail stores

Requirements:

• Experience in Garment Technology
• Passion for garment technology and a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with various departments and suppliers
• Proficiency in MS Office Excel and Coral Draw/Adobe Illustrator
• Self-starter approach with ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail
