Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at GB Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
  • Work patterns available: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday
  • Role will consist of container work to ports, trunking to a network of distribution centers or store delivery work
Requirements
  • You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • 6 to 12 months of actual HGV/LGV driving experience preferred for this role
  • Live locally to Stoke on Trent and be able to commit to a fixed term contract
