Job Title: NPD Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled NPD Technologist to join our team at Flexible Solutionz. As a key member of our product development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer critical paths for project briefs are adhered to, launching products on time.

About the Role:
  • Support briefs with innovative ideas and trends through market data and research.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of bakery ingredient functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date with retailer Codes of Practice and Policies, with a focus on Tesco, Sainsburys, CO-OP, Aldi, Asda, Morrisons, Iceland, Lidl, Bidfood and Premier/Cadbury.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within an NPD technologist role in the food industry, ideally within bakery.
  • Education to degree level, although not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
