Adult Community Specialist Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join our specialist CAMHS team in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to young people and will have a strong commitment to evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents until their 18th birthday.
- To work closely with the team to provide NICE recommended interventions/treatments to the children and young people of the community.
- To participate in the Out of Hours on-call rota alongside other Consultant and Specialty Doctor colleagues.
- To offer one-to-one supervision with a Consultant and participate in local CPD activities.
- Three years experience in psychiatry, of which at least six months experience in child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Further experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Experience of managing complex cases in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Experience in risk assessment.
- A comprehensive program of professional development to which you will have access.
- A large faculty of medical consultants across mental health.
- A multi-disciplinary team with a strong leadership structure.
The team is based at Eaglestone Health Centre within the Milton Keynes University Hospital campus. We offer a range of benefits, including access to office space, personal computer equipment, and on-call mobile phone. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
