Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent. As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating adult patients with communication and swallowing difficulties in community locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat adult patients with communication and swallowing difficulties
  • Work in community locations, including patients' homes
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers
Requirements
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent
  • Experience in assessing and managing acquired communication disorders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
