Hourly Rate: £13.94 per hour, including tronc.

Hours: Full Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Wine Connoisseur to join our food and beverage team at THE PIG Hotel. As a Sommelier, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain knowledge of wines from around the world, including local British produce and our own PIG offerings.
• Interact with guests, pairing wines from our traditional underground cellar and providing recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
• Build relationships with existing and new suppliers, and participate in in-role training to expand your knowledge of local and international brands.
• Grow your qualifications in wine and spirits by enrolling in various courses.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role, preferably with WSET or equivalent qualifications.
