Credit Controller Job Description

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join a dynamic commercial business in Petersfield, Hampshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, collecting debts, and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting mixed value aged and current debt by telephone and email
  • Resolving credit control queries and escalating problematic accounts to the Credit Control Manager
  • Raising and sending monthly statements
  • Carrying out credit checks on new customers
  • Reviewing existing customers' credit limits and ensuring credit terms are being met
  • Attending weekly credit control team meetings
  • General administration including creation and management of customer accounts
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work deadlines
  • Self-motivated, confident, and persistent
