Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Emotiv Technical Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Health and Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and practices across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety Management
- Develop and implement Health and Safety policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor Health and Safety performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Environmental Management
- Develop and implement Environmental policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor Environmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce Environmental impact and improve sustainability.
- Communication and Training
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Communicate Health and Safety and Environmental information to employees, management, and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, such as the HSE and Environmental Agency.
- Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and submit reports to management and external stakeholders on Health and Safety and Environmental performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including RIDDOR and COSHH.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve Health and Safety and Environmental performance.
- Proven experience in Health and Safety and Environmental management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
