Position: Class 1 HGV Driver
We are seeking dedicated Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our esteemed logistics operation.

As a Class 1 HGV Driver, your primary responsibility will involve trunking operations, typically consisting of trailer exchanges between various company locations.


Shift Patterns / Working Hours:

  • Friday to Sunday
  • Friday to Monday
  • Thursday to Monday
Shifts will predominantly commence in the Afternoons or Nights (from 15:00). Drivers are assured a minimum of 10 hours of pay for shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Key Requirements for the Class 1 HGV Driver:

  • Must have held a valid license for at least 6 months
  • Must possess current CPC and Tacho cards
  • Must be able to accommodate the specified shift patterns
  • Must have no more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes (No DD, DR, IN, TT)
Your responsibilities as a Class 1 HGV Driver will encompass:

  • Transporting goods to various company sites
  • Operating curtain-sided or box trailers
  • Minimal handling of the cargo

Compensation:

  • Day shifts (05:00 - 22:00) - £17.04 per hour
  • Night shifts (22:00 - 05:00) - £19.23 per hour
  • Overtime paid after 43.5 hours weekly - £25.56 per hour
