Electronics Engineering Lead

Expleo is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineering Lead to join our team in Barnstaple. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of electro-mechanical systems, providing technical leadership to a small multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality electrical and electronic engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of analogue and digital electronic circuits
  • Experience of PCB design from schematic capture to PCB layout using Altium
  • Experience in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical systems
  • Ability to follow a methodical/systematic approach to analyse and solve problems
  • Full lifecycle experience from requirements decomposition to acceptance and user sign off on multi-disciplinary programmes
  • Experience of requirements capture, analysis, V&V and configuration management
  • Able to produce clear and concise technical documentation
  • Demonstrable ability to plan and execute technical assignments
Requirements
  • 7 years' experience in digital or analogue electronics design within a structured development environment
  • Eligible for SC level Security Clearance (can start on BPSS Clearance)
  • Due to security restrictions, candidate shall be a UK National
  • Able and willing to travel occasionally within the UK and Overseas as required
