About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer - Electrical to join our UK team based in Deeside, UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for positively impacting the plant's SAFETY performance through continuous improvement of SAFETY processes and procedures, and maintaining plant and equipment to a high standard using planned maintenance digital systems and resource deployment.

The role will also involve troubleshooting asset breakdowns, diagnosing issues, and resolving them in a timely manner, as well as installing assets to provider specifications and decommissioning them to agreed standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Comply with the Plant's SAFETY systems and procedures to positively impact the Plant's SAFETY aspirations with an emphasis on continuous SAFETY improvement.
  • Deliver pre-planned scheduled Maintenance activities and maintain plant assets to the pre-determined standard.
  • Repair non-functional assets in accordance with plant standards, releasing non-functional assets back into production in a speedy and reliable manner.
  • Work with production personnel towards improved output efficiencies through excellent asset management and function.
  • Assist with asset installations and decommissions in accordance with the maintenance schedule of activities.
  • Be prepared to assist the company in activities not associated with daily activities at a time of need and necessity.
Experience & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be considered either multi-skilled, mechanical or electric bias skilled employee.
  • To be qualified to complete a list of required tasks and be up to date with latest legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
  • Previous maintenance department experience working within a team of multi-skilled engineers.
  • Previous maintenance system experience.
  • The ability to work unsupervised to get the job done safely and complete.
  • To be a team player and appreciate that on occasions flexibility is required in terms of working hours.
