Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and tailored lessons designed to meet the unique needs of students with different SEN, including autism and learning difficulties.
  • Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with the SEN team and other specialists.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and secure learning atmosphere that encourages student engagement and development.
  • Employ effective behavior management techniques to assist students with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for each student.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience: Proven experience in an SEN teaching role is essential.
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with specialization or experience in SEN.
  • Skills: Strong classroom management abilities, with the flexibility to adapt teaching methods to individual needs.
  • Commitment: A genuine dedication to fostering the educational and personal growth of students with SEN.
