Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Power and Utilities Transactions team as a Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with top-tier clients in the sector, including energy, water, and other utilities companies, as well as investors and suppliers.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in financial advice, project finance, and corporate finance, with a proven track record of working on major projects. They will be responsible for managing day-to-day delivery of specific engagements, leading internal project teams, and coordinating with external advisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review high-quality client outputs, including financial models and business cases.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying and analyzing key value drivers for projects.
  • Stay updated with key sectors in Power and Utilities, developing sector-specific market intelligence.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff, ensuring compliance with quality and risk management procedures.
  • Perform business development activities to support the growth of the utilities infrastructure business.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in financial advice, project finance, and corporate finance.
  • Proven track record of working on major projects, with expertise in financial analysis and modelling.
  • Strong report and business case writing skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to identify and analyze key value drivers for projects, with experience in investment appraisal and development.
  • Comfortable working with interdisciplinary teams, with strong presentation and communication skills.
