About This Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Section Lead to join our team at Mondelēz International. As a key member of our manufacturing operations team, you will be responsible for leading the production operations in our plant and delivering key performance targets in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, and organizational morale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage change and transformation initiatives among operating teams to implement integrated lean 6 sigma phase journeys, factory of the future line-centric organization, and roles to progress into self-sufficient teams.
- Support the development and implementation of manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and engagement goals.
- Lead and be accountable for establishing a strong governance framework to review and control operational performance and continuous improvement plans, and embed a zero-loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best-in-class standards.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing standards, governance, compliance requirements, and operational standards to ensure a safe and reliable operation.
- Lead and be accountable for talent, capabilities, and engagement for the manufacturing team, identifying and implementing critical levers to attract, retain, and develop critical talent and build capability at all levels.
Requirements
- Strong operational and manufacturing leadership experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, with experience in total productive maintenance, 5S, lean, and 6 sigma tools and concepts.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment, with demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem-solving, and team building.
- An engineer with a strong financial and business acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
