Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Senior Leader to oversee multiple ongoing initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, within the designated timeline, and achieving optimal financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Develop and manage financial forecasts, monitor project expenditures, and prepare monthly performance reports for senior management.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Lead projects from the design phase through to completion, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted.
- Resource Planning: Assess project progress, allocate resources effectively, and engage in proactive planning.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all project plans, risk assessments, and method statements are in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Cost Management: Maintain a focus on cost efficiency and challenge existing processes to drive down expenses.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Ensure that all subcontractors adhere to established procedures and safety protocols.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members, facilitating knowledge sharing and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all as-built documentation and operation & maintenance manuals are delivered to clients upon project completion.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing projects within the civil engineering and water sectors. Key qualifications include:
- Proficient in project management software, preferably Primavera P6 or similar.
- Possession of a valid CSCS manager's card and SMSTS certification.
- Strong understanding of contract conditions, including NEC contract mechanisms.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Demonstrated capability to manage and deliver projects independently.
