Job Summary:

Radis Community Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care services to individuals in their own homes.

About the Role:

As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supporting with medication administration, including ordering and managing medication supplies
  • Preparing and serving meals, as well as assisting with meal planning and grocery shopping
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being
  • Maintaining accurate records of client care and progress, including documenting any changes or concerns

Requirements:

  • Valid Care Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in a care setting, preferably with a focus on community care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts
  • Reliable transportation, with a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
