Teaching Chemistry at EF Oxford

We are seeking a qualified Chemistry teacher to join our team at EF Oxford. As a Chemistry teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Chemistry C1 and C2 at AS/A-Level (KS3/KS4) for our University Foundation Programme.

About the Role

This is a part-time role, with approximately six and a half hours of class time per week. You will be teaching students from around the world using our blended learning system.

Requirements
  • Hold a BA in the relevant subject (MA is desirable)
  • Experience is a bonus, but not essential
  • Teaching or tutoring experience in any setting
  • CELTA qualification, but not essential
  • Passionate, professional, dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic, and flexible
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and positive, with a keen sense of initiative, who is able to take responsibility when necessary
  • Keen interest in up-to-date teaching methodology and developments, with a strong desire to develop teaching skills and knowledge
  • Able to encourage a positive and sharing attitude to both classroom and professional issues
  • Sensitive to students' academic & welfare needs
