Position Overview

As a Mobile Tyre Technician, you will leverage your skills to provide exceptional service directly to customers in various locations. Utilizing a mobile device, you will manage bookings, procure necessary stock from your designated base, and organize your transportation route efficiently. Your role involves traveling to clients' residences or workplaces to perform scheduled tasks, adhering to the highest standards of technical proficiency and safety.

You will be entrusted with the secure operation of the National Mobile van and all associated equipment. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in tyre removal, repair, and installation, acquired in either a workshop or mobile setting.
  • A strong background in delivering excellent customer service in face-to-face interactions.
  • The capability to prioritize tasks, demonstrate initiative, and determine optimal solutions independently.
  • A valid driving license with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety protocols and practices.

This is a full-time position, requiring 44 hours of work per week, typically from Monday to Friday, with a one-hour unpaid break, and Saturday mornings. A vehicle and tools will be provided for your shifts, including during the one-hour call-out period surrounding your scheduled hours.

In this role, you will serve as a substitute for other Mobile Tyre Fitters during their absences. You should be ready to use your personal vehicle to reach the base location of the Mobile van you will be covering and may need to stay away from home for up to four nights weekly, depending on the assignment's location. While extended stays are not a weekly requirement, they may occasionally be necessary.
