Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Create High-Quality Cosmetics: Develop and implement high-quality clothing items, accessories, and props for in-game characters, adhering to the established art style and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with Art and Design Teams: Work with the art and design teams to brainstorm and develop new cosmetic concepts that align with the game's themes and player preferences.
  • Generate Concept Art and Mood Boards: Create detailed concept art and gather mood boards to communicate ideas and inspirations effectively.
  • Create 3D Models and Textures: Develop detailed 3D models and textures using industry-standard software such as Maya, Blender, or ZBrush.
  • Optimise Assets for Performance: Optimise assets for performance while maintaining visual fidelity, considering the constraints of various gaming platforms.
  • Iterate on Designs: Iterate on designs based on feedback from internal stakeholders and playtesting sessions, ensuring a polished final product.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in character customisation and cosmetic design, incorporating innovative techniques into your workflow.
  • Balance Technical and Artistic Constraints: Balance technical, gameplay, and artistic constraints and work collaboratively to reach solutions between disciplines.
Requirements
  • Strong Portfolio: Strong portfolio of artwork that demonstrates exceptional creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of 3D Modelling and Texturing Software: Clear knowledge of 3D modelling and texturing software, such as Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, and Substance.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine: Experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Right to Work in the UK: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
