About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our partnership development strategy, identifying target companies, approaches, income diversification plans, and compelling propositions for different sectors.

As Head of Partnership Development, you will be responsible for developing the expertise and knowledge of your team, encouraging the development of compelling pitches and high-quality proposals that align to corporate drivers.

You will help your team develop new partnerships that maximize impact for WWF-UK and the fight for our planet.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making it politically, socially, and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet's natural resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a partnership development strategy
  • Identify target companies and approaches
  • Develop compelling propositions for different sectors
  • Lead a team of partnership development professionals
  • Negotiate strong partnership terms
  • Ensure comprehensive due diligence and risk analyses

Requirements:

  • Graduate calibre with experience of developing long-term partnerships at a senior level in the commercial or charity sector
  • Record of securing high-value partnerships in the multi-millions
  • Proficient in proposal development, budgeting, and contracting
  • Naturally warm and enthusiastic with exceptional networking skills
  • Strong network of corporate contacts in the sustainability and/or C-suite level
