Role Overview:
As a Systems Engineering Specialist, you will engage in a client-facing capacity, contributing to the execution of a diverse array of intricate and demanding technical initiatives focused on critical solutions for Roke's National Security clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your system design expertise across various business sectors, incorporating a spectrum of established and emerging technologies, including electronic warfare (EW), RF cyber, applications, middleware, and radio bearers.
- Lead technical decision-making and problem-solving efforts, guiding engineering teams effectively.
- Oversee technical bids and contribute to senior technical documentation.
- Develop Integration, Validation & Verification plans to mitigate delivery risks.
- Plan and execute system installations and integrations, both domestically and internationally.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to reach consensus on the feasibility of solution alternatives, assessing associated benefits and risks.

Qualifications:
- Familiarity with system engineering lifecycles, including tailoring and planning.
- Experience working alongside commercial managers and civil contractors to facilitate system installation and deployment as per client requirements.
- Proficient in risk and opportunity management.
- Knowledge of configuration management and baseline development throughout the system lifecycle.
- Understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW) and ideally both military and civil communication systems.
- Appreciation for hardware, firmware, and software, including Software Defined Radio (SDR) with high-speed ADCs and RF subsystems.
