Pertemps Plymouth Commercial is seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover the Devon area. As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for undertaking a mix of Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in our properties to meet legal requirements.
This will include single and multiple room surveys, roof and job-specific surveys, as well as full property management surveys. You will need to arrange and visit customers in their homes across a substantial geographical area, for which a company vehicle will be provided. A full driving license is essential for this opportunity.
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will provide an essential service to ensure our clients' properties are compliant. Your main focus will be to provide a high-quality level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in our properties
- Arrange and visit customers in their homes across a substantial geographical area
- Provide a high-quality level of service to ensure our clients' properties are compliant
Requirements:
- BOHS P402 qualification
- Experience of undertaking refurbishment and demolition and management surveys
- Domestic dwelling surveying experience from a technical perspective
- Clear and demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety and Asbestos legislation
- Practical experience of working in the construction industry or in the social housing sector
- Full understanding of the Decent Homes Standard and the Housing Health & Safety Rating System
Salary Details:
£19.96 per hour (£36,996 per annum)
