Position Overview
As a Lead Physiotherapy Specialist, your role will encompass: Engaging with both inpatient and outpatient services, addressing a variety of musculoskeletal disorders and post-surgical rehabilitation cases. You will conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluations and manage a personal caseload of patients, including those with intricate health issues. From these assessments, you will develop tailored treatment strategies and implement them independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate across inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on diverse musculoskeletal conditions and recovery from surgical procedures.
- Perform specialized musculoskeletal evaluations and manage a personal patient caseload, which may include complex cases, formulating individualized treatment plans and executing them as an independent practitioner.
- Support the Physiotherapy Manager and the broader Leadership Team in the strategic planning, coordination, delivery, and assessment of the Physiotherapy Services offered to patients within the team.
- Participate as a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, which includes nurses, allied health professionals, and consultants, under the guidance of a regional Clinical Lead.
- Assist patients in achieving, maintaining, and restoring their desired levels of health and wellness.
- Provide high-quality clinical care that is safe, effective, compassionate, well-managed, and responsive to the needs of patients.
- Adhere to all governance standards and engage in clinical audits and quality assurance initiatives.
