Security Officer

About the Role
This critical position ensures the safety and security of our port facility, personnel, and assets. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for controlling access to our terminal, conducting routine checks, and maintaining a high level of ISPS security at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Work a varied shift pattern, including days and nights, to ensure 24/7 coverage of the port facility.
- Conduct regular checks, including speed checks, searches, and perimeter checks, to maintain a secure environment.
- Monitor restricted areas to ensure only authorized personnel have access.
- Assist in emergency situations and provide support to colleagues as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a security or law enforcement role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
