Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electric Vehicle Service Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our clients' electric and hybrid commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide field service support for commercial vehicles division, electric drive, and bus transmission systems.
  • Carry out major unit exchanges at designated locations.
  • Support original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as required.
  • Support new product introductions and provide technical guidance to sales colleagues.
  • Liaise with health and safety and field service managers on any issues arising from day-to-day tasks.
  • Complete engineering reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain company vehicle in accordance with company policy.
  • Carry out stock takes in line with annual plan.
  • Work reasonable additional hours to meet business needs.
  • Use reporting procedures to feedback quality-related issues noted during the work assignment.
  • Ensure all assigned training within PEP and iHasco are kept up to date.
  • Undertake product-specific training when requested.

Requirements:

  • Completed engineering apprenticeship as minimum, level 5 qualification or higher.
  • Background in field services and engineering.
  • Full UK driving licence.
