Mencap is on the lookout for dedicated and empathetic individuals to join our remarkable team in Warminster as Support Workers for a part-time role of 26.5 hours.
In this position, you will have the chance to significantly impact the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. Your role will involve working with a diverse range of clients, each with their own distinct abilities and requirements.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities and providing emotional support, ensuring that you play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life.
We cater to a variety of interests, including music, arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, local walks, board games, and more. The most essential aspect for those we support is having a kind and caring companion to engage with and share conversations.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to forge meaningful connections.
· Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· A positive and understanding demeanor towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Employment Options :
· Part-time: adaptable hours based on your availability.
Shift Information :
Our services operate 24/7. We prepare rotas at least four weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social commitments.
· Day shifts: Between 07:00-22:00
Additionally, there is an opportunity for sleep-in shifts, offering an enhanced flat rate payment.
*All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
