Highway Safety Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Highway Inspection Officer to join our team in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

• Conduct highway safety inspections in accordance with agreed inspection regimes and report any issues or concerns.
• Investigate and respond to enquiries and complaints regarding Highway Services, taking measures to reduce problems and improve the Council's image and standard of service.
• Provide information and support on the highway claims procedure, including collecting information and photographic evidence.
• Ensure that all works are conducted in line with legal and organisational Health & Safety procedures.

• Hold a Highway Safety Inspection C & G 6033 with Lantra skills card.
• Have experience of carrying out highway inspections.
• Be able to work with minimal supervision in a busy office environment, prioritising and organising a varying workload.
• Have experience/knowledge in the planning of a street works site relating to signing, lighting, guarding and site safety.
