Job Title: Graduate Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist

Coffey Geotechnics Ltd, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking highly motivated and talented graduate civil/geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists to join our team of specialists providing geotechnical and engineering geological design and consultancy services.

Role Overview:

We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in geotechnical engineering/engineering geology and a track record of related experience in an academic and/or industrial context. As a graduate geotechnical engineer/engineering geologist, you will be exposed to a range of engineering problems and have opportunities to gain practical responsibility from the outset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and undertake office and site-based work, complete investigations, assessments, and interpretative reports
  • Meet clients and undertake detailed design and construction supervision on our broad range of projects
  • Work across teams of ground engineering specialists to deliver geotechnical and engineering geological design and consultancy services

Requirements:

  • 2(i) or 1st MEng, MGeol, MSci, or BSc + MSc in civil engineering, geotechnics, or engineering geology
  • Strong interest in geotechnical engineering/engineering geology and a track record of related experience in an academic and/or industrial context
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Numerical and analytical engineering skills and keen observational skills
  • Flexibility to work on site and overseas and eligible to work in the UK
