Lift Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lift Engineer to join our team at REClifts. As a Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of passenger lifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transporting materials and equipment safely from vehicle to job site
  • Identifying materials are correct for the task
  • Isolating lift power supply and LOTO
  • Rigging up the lift correctly and replacing the ropes
  • Terminating ropes in their anchorages
  • Supervision of the Roping Engineer's Assistant
  • Replacing chains, diverters and traction sheaves as required
  • Responsibility for the correct use and maintenance of PPE
  • Completing all training and work-related instructions promptly
Requirements:
  • Full UK Driving License - Essential
  • NVQ 3 - Desirable
