Learning Support Assistant Role

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at an 'Outstanding' primary school in Ealing. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the needs of students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Work alongside teachers and other support staff to provide individualised support to help students achieve their full potential
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
  • Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students as required
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and preparing resources
Requirements:
  • Have a 2:1 or 1:1 from a reputable university
  • Experience with SEN/SEMH/SEND
  • Be committed to providing high-quality education and support to students and will be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Be organised, reliable, and flexible, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
