At Halmer Recruit, we are excited to present an opportunity for a dedicated individual to join a thriving logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
- Support the Goods In Team Leader with daily operational tasks.
- Facilitate the loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
- Receive materials into the warehouse, verifying quantity and quality before storage.
- Transport goods within the warehouse as needed.
- Assist in conducting daily inventory checks and annual stock audits.
- Palletize and wrap outgoing finished products.
- Perform general warehouse tasks as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or goods receiving role.
- Possession of a Full UK Driving License is essential.
- Experience in goods reception is preferred.
- Forklift operation experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Sage 200 or stock management software is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse health and safety protocols is required; in-house training will be provided.
- Must demonstrate punctuality and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Working Hours and Compensation:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:15 PM.
- Opportunities for occasional overtime.
- 30-minute lunch break, plus 15-minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.
- Annual salary of £26,000.
