Role Responsibilities- Provide reporting and analytical support across the Cement and Packed Products business, with a focus on Capital Expenditure, Powders Business Unit support, and month-end reporting.
- Work closely with the UK Finance Leader, wider UK finance team, and operational stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial reporting, analysis, and insight.
- Lead on Capital Expenditure, including Fixed Asset Verification, and support the UK Finance Leader on monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting of Cement and Packed Products support costs.
- Support the production of the month-end reporting pack and other standardised reports, providing commentary and analysis on performance as required.
- Analyse trends and performance to feed into forecasts and long-term financial planning.
We are looking for a highly motivated and self-starting individual with strong analytical, accounting, and financial modelling skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting, supporting month-end completion, forecast/budget creation, and ensuring compliance with corporate/external reporting frameworks.
Advanced Excel skills, experience with financial ERP systems, and knowledge of data query/management tools are essential. Previous experience in the Cement, Powders, Quarrying, Building products industry and working in a challenging matrix environment/large business plc is desirable.
