Logistics Graduate Job Description

A logistics graduate is required to optimize the use of fleet resources, focusing on logistics distribution and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong organizational background, with an emphasis on planning and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize Fleet Resources: Develop and implement strategies to maximize fleet efficiency, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Develop Strong Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with drivers and customers, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure adherence to all legal and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Resolve Logistical Issues: Identify and resolve logistical issues promptly, minimizing disruptions to operations.
  • Monitor Performance: Track and report on key operational performance indicators, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Departments: Work closely with other departments to enhance overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage Logistics Software: Maintain and optimize logistics software systems, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the logistics distribution and supply chain industry.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in logistics software systems.
