Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Fellow to join our team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have the chance to develop advanced clinical skills in the management of infertility and assisted conception, working closely with our experienced consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily assessments and management of infertility cases, including ultrasound scanning and assisted conception procedures.
  • Coordinate clinical, teaching, and research meetings, and maintain ongoing audits and clinical guideline development.
  • Liaise with consultants and their teams to facilitate patient care and coordinate clinical activities.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, preparing patients for presentation and discussion, and recording findings in medical records.
  • Set up and coordinate fertility treatments, including IVF, and manage NHS funding applications.
  • Update databases and conduct clinical audits, including the Reproductive Ageing and Fertility Preservation programme.
  • Review patients admitted to the gynaecology ward and keep consultants up to date.
  • Participate in quality management programs and ensure the continued running of the service.
  • Maintain staff allocation spreadsheets and liaise with administrators for clinic and theatre bookings.
Person Specification
  • Full registration with the GMC.
  • Degree in medicine and MRCOG part 1.
  • Three years' experience in the UK in general O&G.
  • Experience in infertility/IVF management and gynaecological ultrasound.
  • Experience in audit or quality improvement projects.
  • Good written and spoken English.
