About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on the fleet of vehicles and trailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex technical issues with commercial vehicles.
  • Conduct pre-MOT checks and undertake any necessary repairs.
  • Provide technical support to colleagues and ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid HGV license (Class 1 desirable but not essential).
  • Be a fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Have a strong understanding of commercial vehicles, including tractor units and rigid commercial vehicles.
