Administrative Assistant

To be an effective member of a multidisciplinary Health Visiting Team, promoting the health and wellbeing of pre-school aged children in a designated caseload. The successful candidate will provide and organise a comprehensive, high-level, efficient, accurate, and prompt administrative service to the Health Visiting Team, ensuring the smooth running of the service.
Main Responsibilities- Undertake clerical and word processing duties as directed by the team, maintaining accurate records and files.
- Deal with enquiries from health professionals, colleagues, and the public, providing guidance and support as needed.
- File reports, letters, and relevant information following established protocols.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, distributing it accordingly.
- Admin and clerical office skills, including proficiency in patient administration systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in administration or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of patient administration systems and confidentiality protocols.
- Skills: Admin and clerical office skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work accurately and efficiently, maintain confidentiality, and provide excellent customer service.
