Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our Private Client Tax team, you will be responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse range of private clients, including individuals, trusts, private companies, and family offices.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partners, high net worth individuals, non-UK domiciliaries, non-UK residents, partnerships, and trusts.
- Identify potential advisory opportunities and manage projects to deliver exceptional client service.
- Liaise with partners and demonstrate strong management skills, including appraisals, staff performance monitoring, on-the-job training, and staff support.
- Manage the administration of client portfolios, ensuring compliance, accounts, tax returns, and tax computations are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare reports for clients, attend client meetings, and respond to ad-hoc questions and inquiries regarding their personal tax affairs.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain regular contact with client teams.
- Experience gained within a professional services firm.
- Good knowledge of personal tax compliance and ideally some exposure to planning/advisory work.
- Ability to plan workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent written communication skills to draft correspondence with clients and HMRC.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and staff members.
