As the initial point of contact for visitors, you will be responsible for managing visitor sign-in, providing clerical and administrative support, and carrying out a range of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, meeting and greeting, and managing visitor sign-in.
- Provide clerical and administrative support in relation to the production of specific materials, such as newsletters, school prospectus, and reports.
- Carry out a range of administrative tasks, including correspondence to parents, information to staff, photocopying, and liaison with staff, pupils, and parents.
- Work as part of a team and support the roles of others at all times in providing a high-quality administrative service.
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Experience of reception work, preferably within an educational environment.
- A good working knowledge of effective administrative systems and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confident telephone manner.
- Customer-focused.
- Experience of working with highly confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and computer literate.
- Willingness to undertake group induction training and a strong commitment to CPD.
- Commitment to the values of the organization.
