Your Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with the Head of Department to foster a positive and supportive learning environment for our tutors, driving continuous improvement in teaching practices and student engagement.
- Actively participate in meetings to ensure the smooth operation and strategic direction of the department, contributing your insights and expertise to program development and implementation.
- Oversee the tracking and analysis of student progress, identifying areas for growth and implementing strategies to enhance their academic performance.
- Lead the recruitment and onboarding of new academic staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a seamless transition into the department.
- Contribute to the design and development of innovative and engaging modules, ensuring they align with current best practices in teaching and learning.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area, demonstrating your academic foundation in the field of education or a closely related discipline.
- Hold a recognized teaching qualification and possess demonstrable experience in delivering high-quality instruction within the UK higher education system.
