About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEND Class Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEND Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering core and vocational lessons aligned with the Key Stage 5 (KS5) National Curriculum, supporting the academic and personal development of our students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students with SEND, promoting academic and personal growth
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for growth
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of student progress and achievements
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching students with SEND
  • Strong knowledge of the KS5 National Curriculum and ability to deliver high-quality lessons
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and proactive approach
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in SEND education
