About the Role

Pertemps Scotland is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Multi-Drop Parcel Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering parcels and packages to customers across Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sorting and Collection: Start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post and parcels to be delivered.
  • Customer Service: Use a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
  • Physical Demands: Be prepared for a physically demanding role, walking at least 8 miles per day and carrying a bag that can weigh up to 16kg.
  • Driving and Delivery: Drive and deliver parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg, and push/pull a trolley during deliveries.
Key Skills:
  • Valid UK Driving License: Hold a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
  • Previous Experience: Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Time Management: Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Communication: Possess strong communication and customer service abilities to handle customer queries and concerns.
