HGV Shunter Driver Job Description

Pertemps Crewe is seeking a skilled HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 / Cat C+E Shunter to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shunt trailers between two sites, ensuring efficient transportation and logistics.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, maintaining a high level of productivity and safety.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, with a focus on no-handball operations.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience driving HGV vehicles, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation.
  • Hold a valid Cat C+E entitlement, CPC card, and Digi Card, with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Terberg training is highly advantageous, with a strong emphasis on shunting expertise.
  • Exhibit a positive and eager attitude, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Be flexible and reliable, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
