Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team at Wadars Animal Rescue as a Senior Fundraising Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to make a significant impact in securing major donations to support our animal welfare work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive major donor fundraising strategy to achieve significant revenue growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with high net worth individuals, corporate partners, and trusts to secure five and six-figure gifts.
- Write persuasive funding proposals, cases for support, and progress reports to engage and inspire donors.
- Utilize CRM software to track donor interactions, manage relationships, and analyze fundraising performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective stewardship and recognition programs for major donors.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and maximize fundraising potential.
Requirements
- Proven track record of achieving significant fundraising results, including five and six-figure gifts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of legacy fundraising and administration, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies.
