Workshop Engineer Position

As a Workshop Engineer at Select Appointments, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Leicester Depot workshop. This involves meticulously checking new machines, addressing minor faults, and verifying the proper attachment and functionality of attachments like breakers.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Delivery Inspection: Conduct thorough checks on new machines to ensure they run smoothly and address any minor issues.
- Depot Workshop Focus: Be readily available to assist Field Service Engineers and manage Yardman duties, such as unloading lorries and checking in machines.
Enjoy a 40-hour working week from 08:00 to 16:30, with a half-hour unpaid lunch break. Our competitive pay package includes attractive rates and overtime rates, with time and a half rate for the first 4 hours of overtime, followed by double time.
