Job Title: Microbiologist

At Inizio Engage, we are seeking a highly skilled Microbiologist to join our team. As a Microbiologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical materials and production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct microbiological testing and monitoring of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to meet agreed schedules.
  • Perform laboratory activities safely and in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and agreed timelines.
  • Monitor and record the microbiological quality of production facilities and equipment.
  • Prepare, select, and control the storage of microbiological culture media.
  • Monitor and record temperatures maintained within the microbiology refrigeration and incubation facilities.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy microbiology laboratory and associated consumables and equipment to prevent biohazard and cross-contamination issues.
Requirements:
  • Laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Knowledge of microbiological techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to organize work and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
