Job Summary

As a key member of our centralised Procurement Service, this role will cover the delivery of a wide portfolio of procurement requirements with a focus on Clinical Goods and Services, including projects of both a capital and revenue nature.

Main Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist procurement and commercial advice and guidance to multiple stakeholder business units.
  • Undertaking procurement activity to deliver cost reduction programmes and commercial programmes across the Trust and its subsidiaries.
  • Working closely with the Senior Procurement Specialist and the Procurement Leadership Team to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expert specialist knowledge acquired through relevant professional studies with the Chartered Institute of Purchase & Supply (CIPS) and be qualified to a minimum Level 4.
  • Experience in undertaking public sector procurement and delivering successful contracts across a range of appropriate procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to lead project-specific engagement with a wide range of stakeholders.
