Bloomberg is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Money Markets Data Product Owner to join our growing team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our Money Market data offerings by developing and executing a strategic vision for this critical dataset. Your deep understanding of client needs, market trends, and regulatory landscapes will be instrumental in driving success.

About the Role:
  • Define and champion the strategic direction for our Money Market data coverage, identifying new opportunities and refining existing datasets to meet evolving client demands.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring regulatory developments and industry trends within the Money Markets space. Actively engage with regulators and contribute to industry working groups to ensure Bloomberg remains at the forefront of this dynamic field.
  • Collaborate closely with our Engineering team, providing technical guidance and direction as they build and enhance data functionalities and datasets.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Product teams to design, develop, and refine Money Market offerings that deliver exceptional value to our clients.
  • Lead the implementation of process improvements and leverage technology to optimize data management workflows, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Establish clear data quality standards for Money Markets and implement robust monitoring and improvement mechanisms to maintain the highest levels of data integrity.
Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in Data Product Ownership or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of client data needs within the financial markets.
  • Deep knowledge of Money Markets and a passion for staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Expertise in data management principles, including data quality, modeling, and engineering.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.

  • Experience working within an Agile Scrum framework.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
