About the Role

The Test Engineer is a key member of our team at INEOS Automotive, responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products. As a Test Engineer, you will be working closely with our development team to plan, test, and implement software changes, ensuring that our products meet the desired quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products.
  • Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, log, and track defects, providing regular reporting to the development team and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with Development Team: Work closely with developers to plan, test, and implement software changes, ensuring seamless integration and quality.
  • Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that our software products meet the desired quality standards, adhering to industry best practices and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in software testing, preferably in the automotive industry or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of software testing concepts, including functional, usability, and performance testing. Experience with test automation tools and methodologies.
  • Certifications: Certified in ISEB or ISTQB, Tricentis Tosca, or similar.
